Victor Maurice Cousin , 47, entered this life on April 14, 1975, in Indianapolis, IN.  He was a member of Refuge Temple Ministries since the age of two years old.

Victor attended LaGrange High School, McKinley Job Corp in McKinley, TX and Sowela Technical College.  He was a musician at Refuge Temple Ministries.  He was also a drummer for The Anointed Ones, a member of the Refuge Temple Security Team and a member of Highways and Hedges.

Victor leaves to mourn his parents, Maxie and Deborah Shelvin; two brothers, Brandon (Taylor) Cousin and Ramon (Wyvette) Cousin all of Lake Charles, LA; two sisters, Andrea Dorsey and Tasha Dorsey both of Indianapolis, IN; his aunt, P. C. and uncle, Anthony Butler and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his Refuge Temple family.  He was greatly loved at birth and greatly loved until his death.

He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Dorsey and his grandparents, Bernard and Theresa Cousin.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Refuge Temple Ministries.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
