Wade Joseph Morehead, Jr., 17, departed this life on Sunday, May 13, 2018, in Kinder, La. He was born August 8, 2000, to Wade Morehead, Sr., and Felicia Captain in Lake Charles, La. He was an honor student at Kinder High School where he played basketball and football. He loved dancing, listening to music and going to church.

He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Wade Morehead, Sr., and Felicia Captain of Kinder, La; two brothers, Marion Andrew Morehead of Sacremento, CA and Christian Morehead of Kinder, LA; three sisters, Meranda Gail Morehead, Olivia Bell Morehead and Monica Marie Morehead all of Oklahoma City, OK and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., and funeral service at 1:00 p.m., at Starlight Baptist Church in Kinder, La, Pastor Jimmy L. Joseph, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Botley Cemetery in Kinder, La., under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
