Wanda Faye Bryant, 67, of Lake Charles, LA passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 30, 2026. She was born to the union of Zula Mae Thomas and Charlie Bryant Sr. on January 29, 1959 in Kinder, LA.

Wanda’s hobbies included singing, dancing and spending time with family. She was most known for her good home cooking and always cooked enough to feed an army. Wanda was a woman of strength and silence. She fought a battle and won. She loved and was loved. Rest well Cissy, you will be missed.

Wanda was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers; Andrew Thomas and Kenneth Bryant.

Left to cherish her precious memories are brothers; Wilford (Sonya) Bryant and Bobby Blount, sisters; Diane Thomas and Diedra Bryant, nieces; Shataoria Buckner, Jasmine Bryant, Mikah Bryant, Crystal Snell, Kourtney Thomas, Peyton Bryant, Brianna Bryant Pete and Nateisha Riggs, Yolanda Darby, Andria Darby, nephews; Donovan Thomas, Clifton Snell, Gregory Broussard and J’Lon Gradney, along with a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Evergreen Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be officiated by Reverend James Harris beginning at 2:00PM at Evergreen Baptist Church on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Burial to follow at Community Cemetery.
