Wilbert Leo Guillory, age 71, passed away on May 2, 2012 and Nelma C. Guillory, age 73, passed away on April 27, 2012. They were happily married for 53 years before God called them home. Wilbert was born on Aug. 18, 1940 in Sword, LA to the late Octave & Odelia Guillory. Nelma was born Jan. 31, 1939 in Church Point, LA to the late Lucien & Julia Citizen. Wilbert and Nelma united in marriage on Nov. 22, 1958 in Church Point, LA. Wilbert worked at F. Miller and Son as a foreman for 35 plus years, he was a Legislative Aid for Rep. Elcie Guillory, and a driver at Coburn's of Lake Charles, LA. He also was a 3rd degree member of The Knights of Columbus Council No. 5022 and a crossing guard with the Calcasieu Parish School System for the last two years. Nelma worked at JC Penny's and The Downtowner Hotel, while also being a foster grandparent for Calcasieu Parish School (John F. Kennedy) for the last ten years. Both Wilbert and Nelma enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren and every year they would have a huge New Year's party with family and friends. They will be sadly missed by their daughters; Lottie Larmond of Lake Charles, LA and April Guillory Byers (Phelps) of Baytown, TX., their son; Terence Wade Guillory (Catherine) of Lake Charles, LA., five grandchildren; Jasmine Martel, Kaitlyn & Amara Guillory, and Asiah & Payton Byers. Wilbert is further survived by his two sisters; Louanna Jean and Maehilda Rougeau, and a brother; Norris Rougeau all of Lake Charles, LA. Nelma is further survived by her four sisters; Porina Bellow of Port Arthur, TX., Nelda Gobert of Baytown, TX., Shirely Hall (Willard), and Loretta Guillory (Nelson) both of Houston, TX., and three brothers; Calvin Citizen of Church Point, LA., Rogers Citizen, and Rodney Citizen (Barbara) both of Lake Charles, LA. They are both preceded in death by their parents, along with Wilbert's five sisters; two brothers; step-father John Gallow, and Nelma's sister; Jenora Thibodeaux, and two sister-in-laws; Lucielle & Marethia Citizen.
