Obituary

Wilford "Pat" Jenkins was born on April, 1919, in Lake Charles, LA. He passed away November 26, 2015, at Harbor Hospice facility. His wife Mary Lee Jenkins preceded him in death

He entered the United States Army in 1939 and served in World War II from 1941 to 1945. During his service he received the American Defense service medal, Asian Theater of operations (ATO) medal, European–African-Middle Eastern Theater of operations campaign (EAMETO) medal and The World Ward II victory medal. He received an honorable discharged in 1945.

He was a devoted husband and loving father to his children and grandchildren.   He leaves to cherish his memory to his loving daughters Jimmie Jasmine and Gaye Nell Jenkins. Grandchildren Marsha Reado-Joubert, Tonya Reado-Taylor and Paul Jasmine, seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

His visitation service will be Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at King's Funeral Home located at 1611 Hwy 14 (Gerstner Memorial Blvd) in Lake Charles, LA 70601 at 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m..  The celebration of remembrance will be at 7:00 p.m.

The Interment will be held privately on December 3, 2015, at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
