William Gary Murray , 67, departed this life on Sunday, December 22, 2019, in a local hospital in Lake Charles, LA. He was born May 12, 1952, in Detroit, MI where he lived until moving to Lake Charles in 2006.  He served his country in the United States Army.  He loved watching sports, playing horseshoes, shooting pool, and bowling.  He also enjoyed road trips, traveling and spending time with his family.  He was a gentle hearted, kind man that will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Dora Murray; two sons, Gary Kleiss and Frank Murray; one daughter, Kelli Murray all of Lake Charles, LA; four brothers, two sisters and five grandchildren, Tiffany Owens, Sy'ria Wright, Sydne Wright, Frank Murray, Jr., and Se'ona Murray, along with a host of nieces, nephews, close friends and people that called him "Pops".

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Nora Murray; two brothers, James Murray and his twin, Jerry Murray.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
