Willie Deloris Aaron departed this life on Friday, October 31, 2014, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital at the age of 82. Willie D. was born on February 8, 1932, to Matilda Eddie and Willie White in Colfax, La. Willie D. was baptized at an early age at New Prospect Baptist Church in Colfax La. Later when Willie D. moved to Lake Charles, she joined Mount Calvary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member for over 50 years until her death. She leaves to cherish her memories, six daughters, Velta Emery and Patricia Williams of Baton Rouge, La; Joyce, Linda, Janice and Jackie Aaron all of Lake Charles, La.; four sisters, Margaret Peters and Odessa Winnfield of Alexandria, La., Rosa Carter of Colfax, La., and Shirley Eddie of Compton, CA, and one daughter-in-Law, Geneva Aaron; 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, one uncle, Eldridge Allen Jr. along with special family support members; Monica Evans, Linkie Bee White, Chris Evans, James Guidry, Moses Jones and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Matilda Eddie and Willie White; her husband, Leroy Aaron Sr.; two sons, Elder Leroy "Ricky" Aaron Jr. and Curtis James Aaron; one grandson, Corey Syas; four sisters and six brothers.
