Wilson Kerlegan passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on April 1, 2014. He was born in New Iberia, La. on November 17, 1918 to John Kerlegan and Ora Trahan Kerlegan. He was a decorated WW2 Veteran of the United States Army and a life-long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, wives: Cecile Wiltz Kerlegan and Rena Kerlegan,son;Cyr Kerlegan and one brother; Livingston Kerlegan, sisters: Bernadette King, Audrey Durisseau, Stella Abbotte and Agnes Wiltz and one nephew; Leon Kerlegan. He is survived by 6 grandchildren; Darrell Kerlegan, Farrell Kerlagan,Cory(Marilda)Kerlegan, McClora Kerlegan (Kim Jacobs), Kimberly Kerlegan, and Karen Kerlegan(Will Ned)all of Lake Charles, and one daughter in law;Ethel Kerlegan of Lake Charles and 21 great grand children and several nieces. The family wishes to thank Brighton Bridge Hospice and Resthaven Nursing Home and Charles and Michael Honore' and Agnes Wiltz for the special care given to him.
