Youra G. Gobert, 84, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 27, 1930, to Joseph and Mary Guidry in Eunice, La. She worked in the medical field with local doctors, her last employment being with Dr. Ralph Colpitts. Mrs. Gobert was a compassionate and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed attending church at Immaculate Heart of Mary and citing rosaries with church members. She will be missed but we know she is happy in her new eternal home. She is survived by her children, Brenda Gobert, Marinda Gobert and Magrada Toval; one sister, Shirley Guillory; one brother, Kenneth Guidry; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Gobert, her parents, three sisters, two brothers, one daughter, Glenda Edwards and one granddaughter, Telisha.
