Yvonne Gordon, 78, departed this life on Thursday, February 8, 2018, in Lake Charles, LA. She was born on August 23, 1939, to Ollie Smith and Georgia Franklin. She worked as a childcare provider, foster parent and elderly care until her retirement.

She leaves to cherish her memories, four children, Indrea (Darrell) Taylor, of Lake Charles, LA, Ingrid Dixon of Salinas, CA, Yuri Gordon of Las Vegas, NV and Val Gordon of Rayne LA; one sister, Odalie Lawson of Rayne, LA; three brothers, Ollie Smith, Kenneth Smith and Keith Smith all of Port Arthur, TX; 20 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie Smith and Georgia Franklin and one grandson, Brailon Gordon.
