Adron Marcus Washington, 46, departed this life on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, in Basile, Louisiana. He was born December 27, 1973, to Aria Washington in Lake Charles, LA.
He attended Washington-Marion High School and graduated with honors in 1991. In 1995, Adron graduated with honors from Southern University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a dedicated member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
In 1999, Marcus and another IBM engineer were awarded a patent for creating a special cabling interface for PCs. He was employed by IBM as an engineer and used his computing expertise for Keith Frank and the Soileau Zydeco Band. He loved working on computers and reading.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Aria Washington; his siblings, Jermaine Washington and Alexis Washington; his nephews, Jerein Washington, Larry Barton, Jr., and Landen Barton; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aaron and Leitha Washington; his aunts and uncles Alice Brown, Aaron Washington, Helen Gailes, and Joyce Washington.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. and family service at 11:00 a.m. at King's Funeral Home, Pastor Louis B. Guillory officiating.
